PBC and PBC Special are heat-treating compounds that prevent the scale, pitting, and rust that occurs when steel parts are heat-treated or annealed. They are easy to apply and yield great results.
Use PBC for steel parts treated upto 1650 F.
PBC Special is for parts treated from 1650-2250 F (not to be used with ATS 34, S-7, or other steels high in chromium, nickel, or vanadium).
